North Shore Pediatric Therapy is looking for an LCSW or LCPC to join our talented, multi-disciplinary team.  We are the BEST outpatient pediatric therapy company in the Chicagoland area and have been assisting families for over 17 years. We are searching for a true team player who is eager to grow and achieves results. Our clients are incredible and we pride ourselves providing them with great service and peace of mind.  

We offer a VERY competitive billable rate, health plan participation and continuing education allowance based on the number of client sessions. 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Complete screenings and evaluations for pediatric clients
  • Write appropriate treatment plans and formulate functional goals
  • Make adequate recommendations for other disciplines as needed
  • Complete required documentation (reports, encounter notes) in a timely manner
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies and advocate for client and family as needed
  • Educate parents, community, and other professionals in the therapists’ areas of expertise
  • Maintain communication with families, doctors, schools, and other relevant service providers
  • Create home programs to foster an environment for skills that will carry over into the home
  • Follow company procedures for canceling/scheduling clients as necessary

Qualifications

  • Qualified candidates must have a Master’s degree, licensure in the state of Illinois (LCSW or LCPC) required with experience working with children and families.
  • Previous experience working with children, adolescents and families with diverse social and behavioral challenges.  Applicants should submit a letter of interest and current resume/curriculum vitae.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent professional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to appropriately document social work interventions according to office policy
  • Insight and ability to appropriately access and utilize manager or supervisor input
  • Leadership skills to manage families, as well as program planning
  • Clinical skills to facilitate client sessions and social groups
