North Shore Pediatric Therapy is the only concierge health and wellness center for children and young adults, that combines the power of multiple disciplines, first class service, and inspiring results, that has become the company’s hallmark.  We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor to join our team in Lake Bluff, IL.

  • Complete screenings and evaluations for pediatric clients
  • Write appropriate treatment plans and formulate functional goals
  • Make adequate recommendations for other disciplines as needed
  • Complete required documentation (reports, notes, billing) in a timely manner
  • Implement crisis intervention strategies and advocate for client and family as needed
  • Educate parents, community, and other professionals in the therapists’ areas of expertise
  • Maintain communication with families, doctors, schools, and other relevant service providers
  • Create home programs to foster an environment for skills that will carry over into the home
  • Attend continuing education to maintain best practice and up to date treatment techniques
  • Follow company procedures for canceling/scheduling clients as necessary
  • Collaborate with other professions on an ongoing basis



  • Desire to be a part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team with the drive to work together to ensure each child reaches his/her maximum potential.
  • Qualified candidates must have a Master’s degree;  licensure in the state of Illinois (LCSW or LCPC) required with experience working with children  and  families.
  • Previous experience working with children, adolescents and families with diverse social and behavioral challenges.  
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent professional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to appropriately document social work interventions according to office policy
  • Insight and ability to appropriately access and utilize manager or supervisor input
  • Leadership skills to manage families, as well as program planning
  • Clinical skills to facilitate client sessions
